The Echo Rip to River Classic is a 10km surf beach run from "The Rip" Point Lonsdale to Ocean Grove by the Barwon River.

Arguably the oldest Fun Run in Australia, the Rip to River, held early every Summer, is one of the club's most iconic events. It is also our single biggest fundraiser and each year we welcome approximately 1500 runners to the pristine hard sand track from the Pt Lonsdale lighthouse to the main beach at Ocean Grove.

There is also a 5km run and the Echo Ripper Nipper of 1.4km for children aged 7-13 years of age.
