Tasmanian > Launceston Running FestivalTasmanian distance running fans can rejoice, with the return of the biggest running event in Launceston.
Epic Events and Marketing, a Tasmanian business specialising in mass participation sporting events and sports media has acquired the event from Sydney based business Pont3.
“We’re passionate about health and fitness, particularly through running. Along with many, we were saddened that the 2018 edition wasn’t able to go ahead. We have big plans for the Tasmanian Running Festival future,” Managing Director of Epic, Richard Welsh said.
Among the changes, will be a new program for the day, which has been known for a fast 10km race, since it began in 2007.
