Antsy for Anstey is GoodRunnings’ SECOND fully trail-based run, held in the infamous Anstey Hill Recreation Park. Scheduled two weeks before the Federation Trail Ultra and a month before the Barossa Marathon, it offers a great opportunity to those trying to build up to a difficult distance/course in one of the most scenic locations in the area. The course involves remaining exclusively on the 6.2km Yellowtail Loop, with distances of 6.2, 12.4, 18.6, 21.1, 24.8, 31, and 42.2 on offer. All distances with the exception of the half and full marathon involve full laps of the Yellowtail Loop; the half and full marathon options involve multiple laps of the Yellowtail Loop, plus one ‘out and back’ segment to complete the noted distance.
