Travelling back through time to early Australia in the 1860'sRace 1 "click GO the shears" Eynesbury is a light trail event running through the Grey Box Forest and Werribee Gorge surrounds of the Eynesbury township a 40 min drive from the Melbourne CBD.
Runners and families will really feel they have been transported back in time as they pass buildings built pre 1870's with homsteads, shearing sheds, staff quarters and stables on course.
Race 1 of the 4 race Big V Trail Series this is the perfect community and family introduction to those who may not have previously experienced the newly popular sport of trail running.
Distances of 3/6-7km/12km have been selected and a progression in difficulty as the series goes on will provide a pathway to have you enjoying your trails and not being scared off.
Start times will allow for 12km finishers to also do the 3km with family and friends after their run however they will not be eligible for prizes in the 3km.
