The Sri Chinmoy Oneness-Home Peace Run(link is external) is history's longest torch relay for peace. This year in Australia, the Peace Torch will be carried in a relay from Brisbane to Canberra.

Celebrate the arrival in Canberra of the Sri Chinmoy oneness-home peace run on Canberra day; enter the 10-km or 4km fun-runs for free!

The official reception of the peace torch to Canberra will follow the fun-runs, with a barbecue breakfast and entertainment for all.

For this Canberra day special event, the permanent sri chinmoy race number bibs will not be used. You will receive a once-only race number at registration on the morning of the race.

Since 1984, the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team has conducted 10 km and 4 km Fun-Runs along the popular signposted Sri Chinmoy 10 km Recreational Running course on the cycle path along the northern shore of Lake Burley Griffin, starting and finishing at Acton Ferry Terminal.
