Queensland > Brisbane > Kalinga DashThe three courses which make up the event take place in the historic and beautiful Kalinga Park, Clayfield.
The three courses will be:
Long course – 7.5km Short course – 4.2km Kids' Dash – 2.0km
The courses wind through beautiful park scenery and the family friendly atmosphere will be a wonderful addition to the Brisbane racing calendar. Being placed two weeks before the Bridge to Brisbane, it also provides a perfect training run opportunity.
The event caters to everyone – from serious runners to those looking for a fun family walk. The event's prize pool consists of cash prizes, sponsor prizes and special prizes for the children like best costume. Plus all entrants go into the running to win some great random draw prizes! There will be great food and coffee stalls at Kalinga Park, as well as rides for the kids and sports orientated entertainment. What a great way to spend a Sunday together as a family!
All funds raised from the Kalinga Dash event will benefit the Parents and Citizens Association of local primary school, Eagle Junction State School.
