Western Australia > Perth > StepUP! for Down syndromeSouth Perth foreshore on Sunday 11th October, 10am for a 10.30am start.
A family event, 4km walk with a 2km turn-around. The aim is to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome in the community and to raise much-needed funds for a range of programs that make a difference to people with Down syndrome and their families.
Followed by a friendly Family Fun day (with food, rides, entertainment) until around 1pm.
Supported by The Athlete's Foot. (Note: Down Syndrome WA has been conducting a walk event since 2008. StepUP is now a national event and other Australian state & territory Down Syndrome Associations will be conducting walks during the month of October.
