Queensland > Agnes Water Triathlon and AquathlonAgnes Water Triathlon is one of the only Triathlon Australia sanctioned events in Central Queensland. We offer both an Enticer distance of 375m swim, 10km ride and 2.5km run as well as a Sprint distance which is double the Enticer. Our Saturday event is for children under 14 and we have 3 age groups and distances of run, swim/wade, run. This children's event is designed for kids to have a go with the emphasis on FUN and participation, with every child who completes the course going into the draw to win a mountain bike.
Agnes Water is located half way between Bundaberg and Gladstone and is at the base of the Great Barrier Reef. The Triathlon is held on the long weekend at the end of the school holidays and the water temperature is usually a beautiful 22*C in October so it is a great time of year to make a holiday out of your stay.
