Canberra / ACT > Bravery Trek 'Dusk till Dawn'Starting on Friday 17 October the run will commence at 7pm and continue through the night until Saturday 18 at 7am.
Based at the iconic Australian War Memorial in Canberra, our dedicated Runners' Hub has everything you need for a great night of running.
The Bravery Trek ‘Dusk till Dawn’ event is an overnight challenge on a short-distance course (approx. 2.1 km) where the objective is to run the greatest number of kilometers as a team.
Teams
Each team consists of 4 runners, taking on the 12-hour overnight challenge with one team member on the course at all times. This is about teamwork, pacing, and digging deep together.
Legs
The relay takes place on a 2.1 km loop through the Australian War Memorial precinct and Sculpture Garden. An iconic setting, offering a meaningful and reflective backdrop for a night of endurance.
Rotation
You control your team’s strategy. Run solo laps, take turns in pairs, or rotate frequently. There are no set rules. Just make sure one team member is always on course throughout the challenge.
Overnight Running
This is a true overnight challenge. The course is partially lit by streetlamps, and headlamps will be provided. Reflective gear is encouraged for added visibility. Your team will be supported throughout the night with course marshals, hydration stations, and food to keep you fuelled.
Your participation will help raise funds to provide financial support for current and ex-serving Defence personnel. We need your help to make sure we reach every veteran who needs assistance.
