Your support is vital
Each month, Variety – the Children’s Charity provides over $1 million in support to children and families across the country, and we can’t do it without your help.
Your entry fee covers the cost of staging the Santa Fun Run, but we also need your help to fundraise.
Variety helps children and families by providing support for things, such as equipment, therapy, and medical supplies, which they can’t afford, or government doesn’t provide. We are often their last resort and we aim to ‘fill the gaps’ left by governments and organisations.
This year proceeds from the Santa Fun Run will support a child in need to attend the Variety Children’s Christmas Party. The annual Christmas Party brings together over 5,000 disadvantaged children plus 3,000 carers, family members and volunteers to celebrate a Christmas many of them would otherwise not have.
Each year the demand is growing and we need your help so that as many children as possible can attend this very special day.
That’s why we’re asking you to fundraise online in the lead up to the event. Set up a personal profile page on Everyday Hero and share it with your friends, families and colleagues. Just $20 from five of your mates is $100 – and that can have a huge impact on a child’s life!
If you raise $100 or more, you will go in the draw to win an iPad.
