Queensland > 40 for ForteyThe 2025 40 for Fortey event will be held on Sunday 8th June 2025 at the Toowoomba Showgrounds. 40 for Fortey is held in memory of Police Officer Senior Constable Brett ‘Fortey’ Forte who lost his life in the line of duty on 29th May 2017.
Participants can choose between two main events:
40km Challenge: Individuals or teams complete a 40km distance around a 4km loop.
4km Remembrance Event: A family-friendly 4km lap to honour Fortey's legacy.
The 40km event is comprised of 10 laps of a 4km circuit and can be completed individually or as a team of 2-10 members (relay style). First lap commences at 6:30am.
The 4km Remembrance event is 1 lap of the 4km circuit and commences at 8:00am.
