Victoria > Ballarat > Run Ballarat 2017Presented by Run Australia, this year's Run Ballarat kicks off on Sunday, 22nd October for a festive, fun-filled charity event, suitable for the whole family and for anyone at any fitness level.
Run Ballarat is a running event like no other, with 100% of every registration fee and donation going to the redevelopment of the Children’s Ward at Ballarat Base Hospital.
Run, walk or roll down to the Run Ballarat Event Village located at South Gardens Ballarat for celebratory post-race activities, entertainment and family-friendly good vibes! The Event Village will be open from 6.30am for pre-race registration, with volunteers on hand to answer any urgent questions.
When you finish your race, the fun doesn’t stop there! The Event Village comes to life with activities, all day entertainment, rock climbing, games, food and drinks, plus much more.
2017 marks the fifth and final year of a collaborative fundraising effort between Ballarat Health Services and Run Ballarat to raise much-needed funds for the redevelopment of the regions only dedicated Paediatric and Adolescent Unit.
To date, Run Ballarat has raised over $1 million for the Children’s Ward at Ballarat Base Hospital, with the new ward due to open in winter of 2018.
